Danilo Botero is from the municipality of Apia and has always been involved with coffee. Since he was a child, his father taught him the work and tasks of coffee farming. Twenty years ago, he became a professional electrician, a job he has performed alongside coffee farming. Eleven years ago, he bought his own farm and became certified as an organic producer, a process that has allowed him to learn how to handle specialty and certified coffees.
